About Probate & Estate Support Hub
A helping hand when it matters most
I created Probate & Estate Support Hub to provide clear, practical guidance for people dealing with probate and estate administration in England and Wales.
When someone dies, executors are often expected to make important decisions quickly — sometimes before they fully understand what their responsibilities are. Probate can feel technical, intimidating and unnecessarily complicated.
My aim is to provide calm, structured guidance so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
My background in probate
I have worked in probate and estate administration for over 10 years.
During that time, I have:
-
Served at Director level within a large probate provider
-
Built and run two probate companies
-
Spoken directly with and helped thousands of individuals going through probate
-
Worked closely with multiple law firms, outsourcing probate, conveyancing and contentious matters where appropriate
I have been involved in estates ranging from the most straightforward applications to complex, high-value cases involving:
-
Taxable estates
-
Overseas assets and non-domicile issues
-
Trusts
-
Property portfolios
-
Family disputes
I am not a solicitor, and this website does not provide legal advice.
What I offer is structured guidance to help you understand:
-
What probate involves
-
What your responsibilities are as an executor
-
Whether you can realistically manage the estate yourself
-
When professional legal help may be appropriate
Why this website exists
Probate is often presented as something most people cannot handle without professional help.
In reality, many estates are straightforward. Some are not.
This website exists to help you decide what is right for your situation — without pressure and without being pushed in one direction.
It does not assume you must use a solicitor. It also does not assume you should try to do probate yourself.
The goal is simple: clarity before commitment.
How support works
The Hub provides:
-
Short, one-to-one Clarity Calls for reassurance and direction
For estates that require regulated legal services, I work with an established law firm and may receive a referral fee if you choose to instruct them.
There is no obligation to purchase anything. The free guidance is available to everyone.
Paid products and referral partnerships allow the platform to remain independent and continue developing practical estate administration resources.
Looking ahead
Probate & Estate Support Hub is developing a wider range of estate administration resources, including signposts to trusted professional services, so executors can access practical help beyond just the probate application itself.
If you are unsure where you stand, you may wish to begin with the guidance on applying for probate, or consider whether a short Clarity Call would help you decide your next step.
Clear guidance. Sensible decisions. No unnecessary pressure.
